Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TapMemo application and website ("TapMemo", the "App"), provided by ArDapps ("we", "us"). By downloading or using TapMemo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use TapMemo on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Subscriptions (TapMemo Pro)

TapMemo is free to download and includes a free tier. TapMemo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available on a monthly ($2.99) or yearly ($19.99) basis that unlocks unlimited recordings, AI summaries, action-item extraction, export, and other Pro features.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of the plan you selected.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices may vary by region and may change over time; any change will apply only to future billing periods.
  • Purchases can be restored on your devices via "Restore Purchase" using the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use TapMemo for any unlawful purpose or to record any person without appropriate consent where required by law.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the services it relies on.

You are solely responsible for the content you record and for complying with all applicable recording, privacy, and consent laws.

4. AI processing

Transcription and AI summaries may be generated using third-party AI providers. By enabling these features you consent to your audio and/or transcript being processed for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Disclaimer

TapMemo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcriptions and AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be relied upon as a sole record. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArDapps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of TapMemo.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TapMemo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
